Podcasts Redux

I have had some further thought on podcasts. There is one good academic reason to mobilise this technology. It is good for a lecturer - particularly in Distance Education who is also lecturing on campus - who can then create a podcast of her lectures to make it easier to distribute to students. However, then she has the problem of on-campus students also making use of this service thereby maybe reducing lecture attendance.
